It's the end of March, seriously...

I have tremendous guilt for not writing more. I really do. I know I am going to forget these times with Jackson and there are so many funny little stories I could share and wish I was sharing. Jackson continues to get very, very big and very, very toddler-y. He throws terrific tantrums and gives the best hugs and kisses. He says, "I Loo Loo!" and "Hi" all the time and is quite the social bug.

Today we had a guy out to retexture our guest bathroom walls. Jackson was constantly checking in on him and it seemed every time the poor guy turned around there stood Jack saying, "Hi!".

We attempted to wean Jack from his binky (aka: Bubbub) and sleep train in the same week. This resulted in an Epic Fail. Four nights with no sleep and a cranky toddler was enough to make me want to run away from home. Instead, I found an article by a child psychologist that would help me justify giving my kid back his binky. Jackson slept two nights in a row, with his binky, and without getting up and into bed with us. Those were glorious nights. I hadn't slept like that in, well, nearly two years. Last night the spell was broken and around 4 am I caved and brought the little cry baby to our room.

Parenting is so hard.

And on that note - here are some current pictures of the kid and all of his cuteness. Enjoy.

Jackson is really in to hygiene.
Let's hope this continues through adolescence.

A visit from Nana and a trip to the Zoo.

Our good friends the Nelson's are expecting Miss Lucy early May. The car seat we borrowed from them is being returned. I remember when this little guy looked small in this car seat.
My, how things have changed.

It's funny the things we idividually anticipate. Binkies, bubbubs or fafifirees, no big deal to me and since you loved yours I figured it would be no big deal to you. I have been watching for dirty knees however. No real reason other than it seems to mark the time of "baby". A little boy appears and the real "fun" begins! Worms, bugs and curiosity about the world. For me it was geckos in the pockets, I wonder what it will bring for you?!! Love you all. Mom and Nana Pam
