Update...

I know...it's been too long - so let's just cut to the chase okay? I think about writing all of the time and want to, but by the time I have a few minutes of quiet to myself I am ready to cozy up with a book in my bed. I very much wish I could train myself to be a night owl. I would get so much more done. I hate to admit it, but I am buying time right now with an Elmo movie.

So, let's get caught up...
November: We shared a lovely meal with the Hendrick's and Jackson and Emma played like brother and sister. It was a lovely day with wonderful family away from family. We made a visit to Bonne Terre and Ironton to see grandparents and extended family and also had a wonderful time. Jackson got to meet his paternal great grandfather for the first time and spend a very fun couple of days with his maternal great grandparents.

December: Jackson's school Christmas party was adorable. Jackson's teacher Miss Linda got him some new books as a present. We went to OKC and had a very busy, but very fun time visiting the family. Jackson thoroughly enjoyed walking the farm with Bumpa and chasing the chickens and evading Bailey the dog.

January: Seriously? Where the heck did January go?

Jackson Danger continues to grow and learn and test his parents. He is very affectionate and is starting to understand the power of humor. He is a little dare devil and is afraid of very little. His language expands every day it seems and I truly can't believe that in only 4 short months he will be turning 2. I feel like this second year has gone faster than the first.

A couple of weeks ago we enjoyed a hearty snow storm and Jackson was anxious to get out and explore - that is until he actually was faced with the task of touching the snow.

He eventually came around especially once Daddy showed him he could throw the snow at Mommy.

We continue to be amazed with our little boy and everyday I wonder where the heck my little baby went.

Catie- he is SO flippin' adorable! I love the snow picture. I kinda wish it would snow a little here so I could at least get a good picture of Paisley in it. :)

We'd love to see you guys soon. Sure would be nice if you lived here...
