Puppy love...

In true Working Mom fashion I ran to Target on Thursday to scrounge up a Halloween costume for my son's party on Friday. Special Beginnings, Jack's school, does Halloween big, complete with a "parade" of the kids in their costumes and classroom parties. I decided at the last minute that we would participate and I am very glad we did. Fortunately Target had a very reasonably priced puppy costume that was easy for Miss Linda to put on Jackson at the last minute. She also added a cute puppy nose and "freckles." He did great - kept the costume on throughout the parade, which basically just meant he kept the hood up on his head. Check out the adorable pics below. I still marvel at all of the new things in my life that I get excited about.

Here's Jackson, Miss Linda and his classmates. The Puppy, Princess and Pumpkin.

Party time consisted of sitting at their table eating cupcakes, cheese sticks and raspberries. Conversation wasn't all that great but they did put on their own bibs. "Find the circles everyone!" (Miss Linda, encouraging proper bib placement.)

Sweet little Puppy.

The big parade! We are SO in for next year!
