As of late...
Tonight I took my statistics final and all I am going to say is I am glad that's over. Class begins again in only a few short weeks and in the meantime there's work and running after a 14 month old.
We took Jackson to urgent care at Children's Hospital last night. He had had a fever all day yesterday, but by about 6:00 p.m. he had a rash covering his body. It wasn't an itchy rash and the only rash I could self diagnose along with his other symptoms was the measles (he had the beginnings of conjunctivitis and a high fever). Jackson is current on his immunizations and I knew the likelihood of it being the measles was quite slim, but it did scare me a little bit. Naturally it was nothing - just some weird viral rash that kids get. I stayed home with him today too and I think we are both ready to get back to our routines tomorrow. I have accepted that I am just not as interesting as his many friends at school. Nor do I have their energy!
As you can see in the video Jackson is turning into a little ham. He nods yes when you ask him questions and has a firm opinion about most things. He is growing into such a little boy and there are moments throughout the week that I truly wonder where my baby went.
Jackson is walking everywhere now and I know running is in the very near future. He has learned how to "tickle" Daddy and gets a kick out of wrestling with him. Robbie continues to be Jackson's #1 and I am starting to settle into my role as #2 for both Jack and Robbie.
