Prayer answered...

With my first official week back to school over I can now say out loud I, so far, have not looked like a 33 year old fool in my freshman statistics class. Hallelujah, praise the Lord. In fact, I can actually say - with GREAT trepidation - that I am actually, somewhat, enjoying this class. Ok, ok, no one get their panties in a wad here, I am not saying anything about liking or enjoying math or anything remotely crazy like that, but to put it frankly, statistics is no college algebra. And that is turning into a really, really good thing.

I saw my advisor yesterday and I have the all-clear to take my final two classes in the next fall and spring semesters. So, unless I get really stupid really quick I am going to graduate Spring 2011. Finally. What a relief completing this perpetual degree will be!

So, every day it is looking more and more plausible that I will meet the grad school application deadline of March. I am in the process of determining a studying schedule for the GRE and it looks like this will need to be completed by January. If anyone has any insight at all on this test please send them my way.

Jackson had a bonafide MEGA MELTDOWN this morning - twice - and then again - twice - at school. Robbie blamed me, naturally, and we have officially agreed that zero snot wiping should commence pre-breakfast. Apparently, Jackson doesn't like to be bombarded with grooming of ANY kind first thing in the morning. He let me know, Robbie know, the cats know, the floor know (as he was flailing himself upon it) and the poor, innocent bagel offered to him for breakfast know that he was not a happy camper. It was epic I tell you.

Oh, and lately Mommy is not Jackson's first choice when it comes to much of anything. Sadly it appears I have become the third wheel in the Knight trio. Jackson is smitten with Robbie and I am feeling quite sorry for myself, while Robbie is rather smug about the whole thing. Being back in school two nights a week and a business trip coming up isn't helping me feel any better about his lack of need for all things Mommy. I suppose someday the tide will turn. At least it better.

WHAT! No pictures...

I would say something encouraging but you would know I was lying. :)

If someone tried to suck snot out of me in the early am I'd throw a fit too. Or any other time.

LOL!

Love you, Mom
