9 months...

A lot can happen in 9 months. Jackson really, really wants to crawl. He's starting to pull himself up and has strong little legs. He scoots himself forward, but doesn't realize he is gaining mobility with this little maneuver. Daily he tries something new, like blowing raspberries with his tongue or using a new consonant, like "Mamamama." I am amazed how quickly he grows and wish I could slow things down a bit.

He is sleeping well and in the last week hasn't woken up without subsequently getting himself back to sleep. He is an early riser and on the weekends this poses a challenge to his parents who love the idea of sleeping in.

Spring is in the air and I am pretty sure every single person I know is antsy for that first gorgeous day. This weekend has actually been rather nice and yesterday I cleaned house like I use to, B.B. (before baby). Robbie and I have some big home improvement plans and phase one begins Thursday. We are going to have our living room and hallway painted (FINALLY) and of course, with a fresh coat of paint comes daydreaming about all of the other projects I'd like to complete. Next: new flooring.

Robbie and I walked into Jackson's room the other morning and discovered this little person had infiltrated our tiny, newborn baby's bed. Someone please explain to me how this could have possibly happened???

Is it time to lower the mattress? Looks like he could stand up and fall out.

He is so cute! I love his smile. I am glad he is sleeping better. Love you all. Mom
