Let the traditions begin...
Over the weekend we took Jackson to the KC Pumpkin Patch. We met the Nelson's out there and got a glimpse of what our visit to the pumpkin patch will be like in a few short years. It was a
beautiful, sunny day, but the wind was a bit strong and chilly. Jackson seemed to enjoy himself...while he was awake. We took advantage of the many photo ops and brought home a tiny pumpkin for our little boy and a giant bag of kettle corn for the big one.
Jackson is adjusting perfectly to his new daycare. We are three days in and already hearing about how much the ladies caring for him find him cute, cuddly and laid back. It's been wonderful to have him so close to Robbie's work and our home. My morning commute is much less stressful and about 20 minutes shorter. I can't wait to see how much we start saving on gas.
The next couple of weeks will be busy. My cousin Sarah and her family are coming for a visit this weekend, my parents the following weekend and Robbie and I are attending an adult Halloween party (costumes mandatory). I based my costume around one simple thin
g....who can I be that would require false eyelashes. I've always wanted a reason to wear them. I will be sure to dedicate an entire post to preparing for this party. Our costumes have been a month in the making!
