Time to have some fun...

Happy Jewish New Year to all of my Jewish friends! (Karen, that pretty much means you : )

I work at a Jewish hospital so tomorrow being the New Year means for me a lighter Thursday, which is actually my Friday because RK and I will hit the road to OKC for a little Lily Time this weekend.

Oh, and tonight we are going to a Flaming Lips concert with some friends...a show I have been really looking forward to. It's going to be a late night, but I am putting my big-girl panties on and plan on savoring every moment and then pressing the snooze button as many times as I possibly can in the morning.

The Great State Fair of Oklahoma also starts this week and you know that is on our agenda for the weekend as well. Oh yeah...corn dogs, funnel cake and a plethora of fried anything...but specifically for me, Dan's Fried Tacos...yummy.

I only hope it is as gorgeous in OK this weekend as it has been here. Words can't describe it. Perfect might come close.

Okay Mom, get the guest room ready...we are on our way. See you Okies soon.

I wish we had time for Bricktown. You could see the "Flaming Lips" street sign. They are Okies as I'm sure you know. We now have one of those Fondue Restaurants and we are getting a dueling piano bar. We went to one in Dallas with the Wongs a couple of years ago. Robin and I danced like fools and Mike and your dad just stood there. They played lots of oldies (70's hits) which is definately my thing and Robin squeaks right in there. We'll take what time we can get with you. I'm giving up a water aerobics kick boxing class to just sit and talk and have coffee with you on Saturday morning! This is quite the sacrifice you know since I plan to be in a size 8 by December 15th! But one I am really looking forward to! Drive Carefully! Love you, Mom

I forgot! You just missed Oktoberfest in Choctaw. It was last weekend and we went with the Wongs. Your Dad and I did the chicken dance and hokie pokey twice and Robin and your Dad danced too. Mike watched our purses. The food was great! I think we are going to go to the one here in Moore in October. Your dad danced with a little girl (about 4). She looked so much like a 4 year old Catie Jo...Mom
