Sew & Tell...

My Mom came in last weekend for a visit and a crash course in sewing. I wasn't entirely sure I was going to find success in sewing. I was a bit bored making pillows, but recognized the value of practice. After a break (a two hour snoozer) I came back to the machine, renewed and ready to conquer. With the help of Mom and Robbie, I managed to create this adorable bag! Thanks Mom for teaching me and being my fabulous model. It was a great, impromptu weekend. Next time don't forget Dad.

That is one snazzy bag! I had a great time in Kansas! Susan and I are going to The Central Oklahoma Quilt Guild's "Centennial of Quilts" tomorrow. We are both so excited! We are having a hard time making up our minds where to have lunch! There is even an "IHOPs" in Bricktown Robbie. We ate at Nonna's last year. Hopefully Dad and I will make it back to Kansas soon. Have fun sewing Catie! Love, Mom
