Say it ain't so Katie!

On my way home from painting class yesterday the temperature was a nice 75 degrees. As of 11:30 this morning the temperature was 32 and dropping! It is now sleeting and freezing, making for a slick drive home. Not to mention the wind is a blowin'.

The good news:
Robbie's office is closing early, school let out early and may not open tomorrow and oh, the snow is on the way!

Lane, get that sled ready - we are breakin' it in this year.

One thing you hear about often in "these parts" is the big ice storm of 2002. Let's hope we don't have a repeat of this...

Stay warm everyone, and drive safely! Especially all of those baby havin peeps out there. Oh, and Brent & Melissa........enjoy CA while you can.

Hi, It's cold here too. We've had sleet and rain and thunder and snow and I think I see ice on the street and sidewalks. I really didn't think it would happen. They get kind of over excited about weather here.

Went to see Dr. Stierlen today. Susan took me. We had a good time. He is so friendly. I'm being tested for a UTI. Last night I was up until after 2 and here I am up again tonight. I was almost asleep and then your dad came to bed. So, I got up. No use fighting it. Dr. Bryants nurse said that I could start walking a little each day. Of course as soon as I hung up the phone it started raining. Right now I am really having trouble finding the positive in this. What I really want to do is have a tantrum...Oh well, this will pass. It's only temporary, right? Love, Mom

I would be all for the sledding... but I don't think it is allowed right now. Oh well, I guess I could take pictures (BORING!)

Tulsa got 12" of snow on top of at least 3" of ice. Today was sunny but really cold. I worked from home yesterday and today. Andrea and Rob called last night and their electricity was off. It came back on after a couple hours. They had flashlights, candles plenty of blankets and were going to watch a movie on the laptop.

Glad your Thanksgiving was good. Wish I could have seen "this year's pie". I will never forget the one a few years ago that was slightly overcooked.

Where would we have been if this storm would have been last weekend?
Love to both of you

Those pictures are so pretty. If you didn't look closely, you would think that they are black and whites touched up with red and yellow and brick color. Very pretty! Mom
