Robbie, Robbie, Robbie...
I believe balance in a marriage is a good thing. I hardly ever shut up and Robbie is, generally, a man of few words. It works for us.......but this is ridiculous.
I encouraged him to blog about his new job and all you got was, "Hey, I got a new job." Despite what Robbie might think, I know some of you might be interested in details, which happens to be one of my many talents. Besides, sometimes we all need to be reminded that God is working even if we can't see how.
Over the summer, while Robbie was looking for a job, he interviewed with a company that wanted to hire him. Robbie took the job, despite not feeling it was the right move. He then promptly, un-took the job. The guy that wanted to hire him understood Robbie's decision, but still wanted his help and offered him some freelance work. Well, the freelance work never panned out - but during the course of communication with this guy Robbie found out about another web design company in the area... Premier Studios. While working at Long Motor, Robbie realized he missed the creative environment, but still wanted the paycheck - sadly, the two rarely go hand in hand. On a whim, Robbie sent Premier Studios a resume and within about three weeks he interviewed and was offered a job. Oh, and paycheck remains as is and you should see this place. It's not quite a Barkley, but they have some insane equipment, it seems to have that "creative environment feel," they work on Macs (a must have for any proper designer), and I am certain Robbie won't be eating lunch alone in his truck anymore.
