Here I am...
The time flies when you're having fun......
School, school, school. It's on my mind all the time. Sometimes I feel like there isn't any room in my brain for anything else! This coming weekend Robbie and I are getting away for a night. We are going to Tulsa for my cousin Andrea's wedding. (OK - I can totally remember when she was 5 and playing with dolls - ugh!) I am looking forward to a couple of days getaway. Of course, I still have homework and lesson planning to do. (See what I mean?)
My mom is turning the big 50 this week - more to come on that one.
Fall is just beautiful in Missouri. The trees are starting to turn into brilliant shades and I promise to share some pictures when they have all caught up with each other. It's definitely time to break out the pumpkin spice and cinnamon candles.
I had a lovely Saturday excursion with my friend Mrs. Nelson. We managed to find every baby stuff store on the Plaza. She even found her crib set. (I am living vicariously : ) I got an email from the Nelson family last night and they have (finally) started their own blog. Check them out at www.boy-o-boy.blogspot.com
If you haven't figured it out yet - they are having a boy. Robbie and I were particularly excited because our other favorite friends had a girl almost a year ago. (what?! That can't be?!!) When the Nelson's found out they were expecting, Robbie and I decided it HAD to be a boy so we could complete our observational experimenting. We've figured out how to bring a little girl home - now it's time to learn about boys. So far our experimenting has resulted in purchasing more birth control. : )
