I love Crème Brûlée Coffee Mate and a good movie, but not necessarily together...

Last night Robbie and I went to see Lady in the Water with the Hendricks. This movie received terrible reviews and if you have any desire to see the movie, I don't recommend reading any reviews before you go. Before seeing this film, all I had encountered about it was the preview....and I am happy to say, I really enjoyed the movie.

I suppose one could pick it apart and talk about the pretentiousness of the writer/director Shyamalan - but I won't. I enjoyed the story and the characters and especially their interactions. I went in expecting a myth and that was what I got....along with the great actings of Paul Giamatti and other actors I have grown to like (but, I won't put Shyamalan on that list.)

I was entertained and sometimes in life that is all you need on a Friday M. Night.

It was an enjoyable film. Not entirely what I anticipated but still good and very layered despite a general "storytelling" simplicity. Paul G rocks.

Well, I saw the movie w/ Brent and Melissa, I was the proverbial third wheel. All I can say is, "awkward," w/ all of their PDA. Anyway, just getting to the movie was an event unto itself. But I really enjoyed the movie. I was in the mood for some optimism, for some hope, for some great acting. Kyle.
