The Breakfast of Champions...

Robbie started his job today, well fed, neatly dressed and with a smile on his face. The only complaint was the ungodly hour he had to get up.....6:30 am! **gasp**

I am anxious to hear about his day. It's always interesting, those first few weeks of a new job. You meet all sorts of new people with new perspectives, hobbies, likes and dislikes. There's a new lunch routine that you have to learn, the office politics you quickly have to decide to stay away from, the new time sheets you have to complete and all that paperwork.....do I claim 0, 1, 2, or can I claim my cats as dependents?

What a snazzy guy, banana and all. I hope his day went well. I'll be expecting a detailed blog from either of you.

I don't know why but it still makes me glad you have that table. It's nice to see.

We love the table....I even found a china hutch that looks like it was made to go with the table. I will send you a picture of it.

Hope you aren't missing the fam too much - can't wait to get all the details of your week.

I hope Robbie's first day was good! Make sure you eye all that paperwork, if he takes any hints from his friend Lane he will be claiming you and both of the cats!

Well Catie, I am glad you asked, we did catch a Cirque du Soleil show, while we were in Las Vegas. We saw Mystere at Treasure Island. This was one of the original Cirque shows in Vegas, now you have "O" (the water show), "KA" (the fire show), "Zumanity" (the adult show), and there is a new Beatles themed show.

The show was pretty amazing, it was a series of French circus acts: trapeze, acrobatics involving vertical poles, acrobatics involving trampolines at 45 degree angles, acrobatics invoving a spring board/teter-toter, and finally 2 buff dudes using each other as jungle gym.

I highly recommend it as an alternative to gambling your money away the next time you're in Vegas.
