The sun is shining...
and I feel bad. I have been sick for a week and I want to feel better! Today the snow will hopefully all melt away and we can enjoy a bit of a warm up. I have never been so ready for Spring, I have actually found myself daydreaming about the windows up, cool breezes, no coats, no shoveling, a clean car, ahhhh, doesn't it all sound so wonderful?
I am still searching for another job and have been so busy substitute teaching that I occasionally forget I am still searching for another job. Not a bad problem to have, I suppose.
Last Wednesday I met with one of the volunteer coordinators at the lovely Kansas City Hospice about an opportunity to job-share her position. She is looking to make the position full-time but by splitting the time between two people. It was a great interview and I feel pretty confident that if and when the hiring ticket surfaces I will be offered the position. It's the waiting that hurts.
